Joan of Arc question?

  • I have to do a paper about Joan of Arc. My teacher put this on the rubric paper: Purpose: To write a research/analysis paper about a topic you have chosen and cleared with Mr. T. You must research your topic and relate it to modern times. You do not have to compare it to something, you may also show how that person, thing or event led to how things are done today. As long as you relate it to something in the modern times (after 1950) I have no idea what to say about Joan of Arc that doesnt have anything to do with womens rights! Help?

    Two thoughts. The importance of Joan of Arc was not that she was a women but that she was a leader, who gave hope and was able to make a difference. You could relate her to someone who has been an unexpected leader. Or, you could relate her to the lengths people can go when they believe God is on their side.
