What is a good science fair project?

I have to do a science fair project by the end of February, and if I don't start now, I'll start to late. I'm in middle school and i realy need a good idea. we can't do any type of model or anything like that. And I want it to be at least a little fun because I really don't like science. Thnx for helping me out ppl!!!! *The project is required to pass science so I kinda have to do one*

i did a science fair experiment in 6th grade and i did who has a better short term memory boys or girls. and i just mad a list of number and gave the person like 30 seconds to look at the list and than i told them to recite it back. i won second place. just make sure when you compare data that you compare people around the same age. hope this helps =]

Do a commercial testing. You could test different stain removers to see which works the best...etc.

That is sooo funny. I have a project that is in Feb. too, and we also have to do this to pass i swear this is funnny Funnny...LOL That really is funny. no that is plain weeeird haha See what kinds of salt melts ice the slowest, medium, and fastest. Make a clock with a potato. See if batterys can connect underwater. See how much bacteria is on a lunchbox. See the volume, mass, and weight, height, of a poptart or other item. hope i helped =) =)

My friend did one on "if color effects perple's preception of taste" and it was really good, what she did is she added food coloring to different foods, ans had perple eat it with a blindfold and without, and recorded whether they said they liked or not both times, it was really cool she got to regionals with it and it.

Why not do an experiment as to what freezes faster hot or cold water. Set up 5 trays of hot water at varying temperatures and 5 at room temperature (control) and 5 at as cold as tap water gets. Monitor them and show that the myth that hot water freezes faster than cold is that, a myth.

... Ok I just got done with mine, I'm in the 7th. "Does age affect your reaction" 1. Get like different people with different ages. 2. Throw something light at them (like a ruler) and record ho many seconds after you threw it did they react to try and get it.

I dont know if this helps but i did a project and I tried diffrent carpet cleaners on a soda spill and i got 3rd place! and my friend did a project on how diffrent kinds of music affect how a plant grows it was interesting!!!
