Well I'd start with a "Hey everybody my name is ...... And hopefully by the end of my time here I will be a successful ...... " and just keep going on about what you hope to gain from your college experience and what made you decide to go there. Hope that helps!

Hi, this is me. Take a good look at me, cos I won`t be talking for long, I have to squeeze myself into 3 minutes. That should get them chuckling at the outset. It`s the best way to make them laugh at the start. It wins them over straightaway.
