What is the difference in objective and subjective essay writing?

Answer:
Objective essay writing requires that you rely on facts and evidence outside of your own opinions and thoughts. Most of what you would need to write will need to be from statistics, scholarly journals, primary sources, etc. Writing a research essay is the best way to go on this. For example, you need to say "Based on evidence A, it means..." Subjective essay writing allows you to interpret a topic in the way you wish, and also allows you to bring into consideration your own feelings and opinions. This would be more appropriate for discussing what your views and why on a particular topic. For example "I do not agree with the stance on this topic because I feel/I think about x, y, and z..." Both styles require you to use clear and logical arguments, however.

Basically anything subjective has an opinion implied or stated directly. Anything objective is pretty much just stating the facts. If someone is trying to persuade you to believe or disbelieve something, or is trying to explain their opinion, it's a subjective essay.

objective means that you observe a certain subject, without making a statement about it, or judging it or "pick sides" on it. for example, if you were to do an essay on the middle east, from an objective point of view, you review the countries the history the disputes and the solutions offered by different parties regarding the matter. subjective is to observe the subject and make a statement about it, "pick a side", express the way YOU see the matter. so if you were to make an essay about the middle east from a subjective side, you would judge the country's' actions, the solutions, you would express what you feel is wrong, and offer your choice of a solution and so on. hope it explains it.

An objective essay attempts to observe the facts from an objective (not influenced by emotions) point of view. A subjective essay would include your thoughts and feelings.
