I am writing a research paper. My topic is why people choose not to use condoms. Why?

Simply put: It feels better. Whether ejaculating directly into a vagina or other orfice, the sensations that produce contractions (orgasm) are greatly increased with skin to skn contact. I cannot speak from personal experience because I do not have a vagina, but I believe the same answer would hold true for a woman. If I were young and involved with someone in a non monagomous relationship, I would think differenlty about it. Since I am 62 yrs old and involved in an extra marital relationship with a 40 yr old married woman where there is no sex in her marraige, I feel non use of condoms is practical and safe.

Reasons: 1)Some people dont have any when the chance for sexual intercourse pops up 2)Cannt afford it (espescially teenagers) 3)Drunk Hope that helped!

It mostly has to do with people acting out of passion and not out of responsibility. Lust not love... Google it.

Well, people dont use condoms sometimes because they get too caught up in the moment. THey have to stop being passionate in order to put the thing on, and they think that that could effect the feelings. Also, they could be under some type of drug/alcohol influence and just forget to put one on. ANother reason ( i know this one personally) is becuase it is a little bit embarrasing when you buy them, because everyone in line and the person behind the cash register knows you are planning on getting laid. ANOTHER reason (lol) is because it feels better without it. However, if you plan on not using one, they sell ultra thin ones, which feel more natural. A lot of people also figure, "this is just a one time thing, she wont get pregnant, she doesnt have an std..." But in reality, she (or he) doesnt know they have the std, and are spreading it around like WILDFIRE!!!! I hope this helped. 8)

Latex doesn't feel like woman does. The condom definitely puts a sense of artificiality on the whole business. Like, "Oh hell, this ain't really sex - I don't know why I bothered."

many reasons. it feels better when you don't use a condom. sometimes a person's religion forbids the use of contraceptives. and some people are just to lazy to buy the things.

Many experts believe that the early use of wooden condoms gave rise to the modern myth that women do not enjoy sex. But it has been a recent discovery that they do enjoy sex, they just use this excuse as a ploy to make men want to have sex with them more. Don't use a rubber band and clingfilm because it will just split.

If you have access to on-line journals, look up Boyce et al. (2003), they reported that the most common reasons (at least in Canada) were: 1. They did not expect to have sex. 2. Using another type of birth control, i.e. pill. 3. They had too much alcohol or took drugs. If a couple is in a relationship, it may also be that they do not use condoms because they trust their partner to be faithful (Netting & Burnett, 2004).

ive been with the same guy for almost 3 years, he was a virgin, same here, no STDS just feels better without a condom.. and if u have STDS keep it to yourself!!
