What's the best way to get new clients into my salon?

design flyers or e-flyers for your new location complete it with discounts for 1st 100 customers or 1000 however you like. the question is how many flyers? well mostly on an average flyer distribution statictics less than 30% would be like to respond. so if you make 100 distribution... mostly probably less than 30 will turn up. its also entirely up to how well you design your flyer. well, the best way to bring in clients is sell yourself... In which you show them your work like doing friends hair and taking pictures of hairstyles...Although, it's hard to show them you did some good hairstyles in the pass let people know you have confident in yourself.. Maybe charge reasonable prices to give at ease.

discounts, to start off with one time offers, maybe vouchers for a discount offer next time. advertise more, such as the local paper or something

just a place that was clean, with friendly people that worked there, and equipped with enough staff so I wouldnt wait long (I mean dont just have 1 person there)

keep clean, make good friendships, chat with your customers, donot argue with them when they speak wrong and do your job better and sincerely.

I agree you should advertise consistently to build up your clientele base. You ads should offer something (free gift, discount etc). The second part is that you should get all your customers names, addresses and emails. Offer them another incentive for doing so or tell they why they should (made aware of your discounts, specials, customer appreciation day etc). Last part is to send them a monthly newsletter (via email) full of hair/beauty tips and specials that you have.
