How do you sell something on amazon. com?

How do i use amazon.com or ebay.com??? to sell something?

• okay so i am wanting to sell my zune- i do not want anything comlicated.. i just want upfront cash basically-but i do not want to risk craigslist so can anyone tell me the steps i need to take to get my zune out there for sale??? help please:)!

  You might be better off letting an experienced eBay seller sell it for you. They normally take a percentage of somewhere from 20% to 30%. EBay has a directory of resellers in local areas who can help. You might ask around your circle of friends to see if you know someone (or someones friend/relative) sells on eBay and would sell it for you. Just make certain it's someone you know you can trust, since they will need to take possession of it until it has sold. Then again, it might be a good experience for you to sell something on eBay. Any member can click through and do it fairly quickly, but I advise reading up on it first. Check the library for "Starting an EBay Business for Dummies" by Marsha Collier. Marsha's great and helped me get started. Being set up as an eBay seller can be very handy even if you only sell something every couple of months. If you start, you might realize you have other things you'd like to sell.
