What are the best ways to search for jobs?

I know this gets asked a LOT but some ways to....?

  • Hey! I know this question gets asked like a MILLION times but I don't have the patience to search for ways and things so i'll ask my own specific questions! So NO rude comments saying "This has been asked like twice a day LOOK IT UP" or you'll be reported... Anyway, I'm 14 years old and am on a long path to try to save up for a horse, ya know a few thousand dollars worth of a horse, not a stallion bred in europe for $30,000 and up...:) I can't babysit, everyone in my cold-a-sac is over 9 and doesnt need babysitting. It's january now so I may think of shoveling, but i was wondering how much it would pay per hour on average (with a medium driveway nothing long like on a farm or private house property) and how long on average it would take (like 2 hours, 6 hours ect). A lot of people use blowers though so i dont know if shoveling for people would be outdated now...But i guess i would be paid less than the plow man...:/ So tutoring...I'm pretty good in english but i dont really have much of a desire to teach...But I would if i had to so i guess i'd like to know the pay for it in terms of hours like 2 hours: ___ and 4 hours: __ and so on!!! One thing i'm good at and like to do is baking!!!! I know you need a license and all that which is really depressing but i have 2 questions about it anyway: 1. does it cost anything to get a license? if so, how much? How much work and time will it take to get one? do I need anything in particular to get it? 2. Can i sell baked goods to my cold-a-sac and a big neighborhood of a lot of mini coldasacs without a license? Will i get in serious trouble? would people still buy my baked goods? am i risking any kind of law suit or something bad that would go on my permanent record? Thanks...I'd love to know about other ways besides those mentioned above and further details about baking and stuff! Need a recap maybe? Just in case...: 1. Ways besides babysitting, lawn mowing and tutoring. 2. How much does shoveling pay and how long would it take to do it on average (details above)? 3. BAKING. Selling goods in neighborhoods with risks and licenses (DETAILS ABOVE PLEASE LOOK!!!) 4. Online surveys that are safe (i'm kinda afraid of them because i always think theyre spam)? 5. professional jobs for 14? would they pay decently (probably not)? 6. OTHER unique ways to make money legally. Thank you, please NO RUDE COMMENTS you will be REPORTED. Thanks again:)

  • Answer:

Are there any 4H clubs in your area that might help you obtain your goal & you could learn more about horses. The baking if your neighbours know you & your not trying to compete with the stores you could do a little of it. The primary concern from the health board is TB & food poisoning. You just missed the holidays for pies & deserts. Post a note at your church for what you would bake & see if you can get some takers. I make home made bread & the batch is too big for my Gal & I so usually some one gets a donation of a loaf. So, I know people love home made bread as it is very filling if made right. There is an amount you may make before the taxes become a problem (not my area of expertise).

The Starbucks in my area hires at 14

person

As far as a professional job, the only place I have ever heard of hiring at 14 is Dairy Queen. I think I also remember Baskin Robbins hiring at 14, but I can't be sure.
