How do I start a music production business?

• 1. Before the equipment I'm curious about the Studio area. What kind of place is best? Should it be sound proof? And how do I sound proof it? If I get a regular commercial space for rent, is that ok? What about using a space not connected to any buildings, like a house kind of but meant for business use. And do you think if I'm renting a space that has extra rooms if I could live in it? Or would that not be allowed? Or should I just bring it in my own home? My situation is Im low income right now, but Im coming up on about $10,000, but I don't yet have the MONTHLY income to be able to afford a bussiness spot AND my own home. I was gunna use about $2500 for a car, n use the rest to get started on my music production plan. But I need to know where to start before I throw my money away on something I don't yet know enough about. 2. Then on top of that, if anyone can help me understand the best equipment. Im doing lots of research but with seeing all the different choices of stuff it's difficult to know what works best and is best quality. 3. Do I have to have a degree? I know I should take classes for it to learn more, and $850 of that money is going to what I owe the college so I can go back for that reason. So pretty much I have 6-7 grand to start, is that gunna be enough? I may need to cut my price for a car down to between $1000 and $1500, cause I know the more money I put into the music business, the more money I make and I can get a better car in the future. So is about 7 grand enough to start this off? I'm so lost HELP lol. Please someone who KNOWS what they're talking about, break it down to me.
