Not every opportunity is a scam, like the previous poster said. There are some legitimate opportunities out there, but you HAVE to be wise. I have found a few that are legitimate and can refer you. Definitely a scam, they are cropping up all over the internet as malicious. Typically, approaches such as these prey on people looking for jobs or who are in search of extra finance and attempt to get as much information from them as possible (known as phishing), pretending to be a head-hunter or hiring agency or some equivalent 'official'. From there your identity can be stolen, or bank acct/funds stolen. Check out the social justice site GetPayback.com to find out about scams - and if you end up getting scammed yourself make sure to post a claim on the site to help warn the public, and get social justice from dangerous enterprises such as these. It is possible for the public to hold these companies accountable through social justice sites and responsible proactive consumer practices. Good luck

For online business, there are many that can be great but beware of any "easy" ones. Generally.. if you put chore-time into it then you can get chore money. If you put half-day into it, half-day pay. To get a full time paycheck then you will probably have to put that much time in it.-.! BUT if you choose something that you would be willing to put that much time into even if it wasnt for money, then it wont seem like so many hours of work. Again, you might want to tighten up the subject and try again. Such as if you are creative (graphics or witty comments) then a safe thing you might look at CafePress where you can open a free shop and see if your stuff can sell online before shifting up to a paid shop with some more benefits.

For the 98,000th time... The Internet is not some magical cash machine. There are NO online jobs. No data entry. No surveys. No nothing. Anywhere. Really.

Keep in mind that most WFH are commission based, so that they don't have to get inventive on how to keep track of your work hours. So keep in mind they are mostly sales based. First things first- get your SSN protected, and your computer. Its fairly easy to do both, just call the three main credit agencies and do what they suggest to protect your identity, while you do this get some anti virus, a firewall, and a anti spyware program- easy to do.!.!! Next talk to people, you are looking for something that is not investment heavy (less then fifty bucks, though that was pricers then the one I got into). Also you want to make sure they have free training and support, because you will need the help unless you are a natural, but even then you will need some help to get rolling (-the main reason I am in the company I am with!!-). How do you find all this? Research, find all the WFH companies you can and search engine them, get on the phone and call them, get their physical address and Google Earth their offices. Call the BBB, or just look them up on the BBB web site. Keep an eye on business magazines-- when they do an article on a company keep that in mind (Inc did one on our company a few years back and it was stellar). It takes a lot of work, do not just jump in, look things up, and remember this- legit companies will not pressure you, we want you to look around, the illegit push you in uncomfortable ways.
