Can you please help with eBay?

Im curious about selling stuff on ebay like clothing, shoes, ect. Can i get some help please?

• hey guys i was thinking about starting a small business. I was thinking selling clothes and shoes and maybe accessories would be a good thing on ebay. There is a nordstrom rack around where i live and i can pick up nice designer clothing for cheap prices. Do you think this would be a good idea? Where else could i get clothes to sell on ebay? And how do i make good listings that look professional? Does it cost money to have a ebay business not just an account? Best way to ship stuff out to people? Any books or websites on this sort of thing that would maybe help. Anything helps guys. thanks.

  Before I started selling on eBay, I read book 'eBay for Dummies' by Martha Collier. It's important to understand well how it works, small things can make a difference. From my experience: unless you're continuously selling greater quantities, it's not worth to open an eBay store, you can do just listings. The fees for everything are increasing quite often. You should definitely get PayPal account. Clothes can be easily shipped by US Post. (with delivery confirmation!) Good photos and descriptions are really important. There are lots of books about eBay, you can also get info on eBay.com ... Good luck :-)
