How to start a clothing line?

How do I start my own clothing line?

  • Recently I seen a hat that said, "Obey" and everyone is wearing them. So it sort of inspired me, thinking, "Hey I can do that - and even better." So I want to start my own clothing line, but first I'm going to start out small and just do hats. How do I get started? Like can I just find a company that will make the hat for me than just sell it on EBay or To retail stores? Also what's the legal work that needs to be done? Help! P.S. Also if possible include ur email to so I can further learn more abt this industry from you.

Unless you want to manufacture them in Europe or America (if you live there) and make huge losses because it will cost a fortune to do so, you need to make a visit to a manufacturing plant in China or Turkey, where that stuff is cheap.
