Which Coffee House in Karachi have Wi-Fi Hot Spots?

Opening a new coffee house. What do you think of these names?

  • This is a non-franchise coffee shop, specializing in higher-end gourmet coffee, tea, and pastries. Selection is fairly limited. It has considerable seating, including tables, couches, and bar-stools. My plan has always been to include a musical element in the name and image (I'm a Jazz bassist.) So, a few thoughts, followed by my reasons for the name: Rhythm Section Coffee and Tea WayJay's Coffee and Tea (my friends call me WayJay) New Tomaselli Coffee (the Cafe' Tomaselli is where Mozart used to drink coffee in Salzburg.) Bassman's Coffee and Tea (my fear with this one is people will think of the fish rather than the instrument) Bass linee Coffee and Tea (same fear.) Orchard Mesa Coffee and Tea (area of town my shop is located in.) O.M. Coffee and Tea (same thing) Darkroom Coffee and Tea (my grandfather was the photographer at the local paper.... his photos are displayed throughout the place) Please let me know which you liked best.

I'd say WayJay to be cutesy and appeal to a large crowd, or New Tomaselli Coffee, since that is kind of... well, just cool. You could even have something that explains the name inside the cafe - I know that I'm kind of a fact-lover, so at least some people would appreciate that. It is, however, hard to say "let's go to Tomaselli!" so keep that in mind!

I like wayjays... a few years back I got lost in downtown kansas city and had to hitch a ride with a transexual...who I luckily knew somewhat from going to rocky horror showings downtown! He/she dropped me off at a little cafe called Why Jays so that my dad could pick me up..... EVERYONE WAS OBSESSED WITH THAT NAME!! we coulnt stop saying it.... I think wayjays has that same awesome ring!

I dig WayJay's. Hey, be sure to put a bright "OPEN" sign up that people can see from way down the approaching traffic lanes; assuming you open and close when it's dark outside. Also be sure that traffic can read the "Coffee" part of your store name from a long way off, even at night. And keep the same hours of business every day of the week so nobody has to wonder about it. Sell newspapers! Make sure your paper cups don't make your coffee taste like a paper cup. Have a web site with your hours of business and a rudimentary map on the front page. Get a liquor license so you can make Irish Coffee like Starbucks is trying to do. Check every day for wobbly tables & chairs. Use a whole bunch of low-watt full-spectrum light bulbs; no glare, no shadows, no irritating wavelengths... people will like this. Good luck.

few people agree

They are all good, but I like WayJay's Coffee and Tea !
