How can I cheaply and effectively promote my new eBay shop?

I custom design eBay store logos for eBay stores. Should I get an off-eBay store to promote my eBay store?

Currently, I only have an eBay store. It is called: Tonya's Dynamic Designs. I am thinking about having another website that is off of eBay, so I can promote my eBay graphic design business.
