What are the fees for selling on EBAY if you are selling items less than $10?

  • Hi all. I have an eBay account but I am not sure how it works. A few years ago I wanted to sell my car and it didn't sell yet I was charged an amount for advertising. So how can you make money off eBay if you want to sell different items of less than $10? Any help? Thanks to all!

    if its right at $9.99 then $.40(insertion fee) $.53(closing) so around a dollar. but if you add more features such as pictures, extending closing date, buy now, reserve, bold heading, etc... that will be more money. also if you accept paypal that will be another fee. i do believe ebay has a promotion going on that you only pay 33% of the original fees so if you sell now you'll keep more money http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/fees.html http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-fees-outside
