Is it possible to do 2 jobs at once?

2 possible jobs, how can I handle this professionally?

• I have been applying for jobs around my city, and I found one at a clothing store and I was hired. Literally 20 minutes after this, A Plasma Donation Center called to schedule an interview. I thought they had passed me over so thats why I looked for something different. I had my Plasma interview today and I nailed it (i think) and they want a second interview in a few days. I want to be a doctor and there are not many entry level jobs like this avaliable, so this would be a great opportunity to get a headstart. Im not 100% on the this job, but I do have the clothing store secured. I dont know what to do, because I want to handle this professionally. I really want to see where this Plasma Center job goes, but Ive already been hired elsewhere. I havent started any paperwork to get in the system yet though. How should I handle it?

  Well, you do have yourself quite a delimma. 1. Check the hours on both jobs and see how long of a shot in the dark it would be to attain employment at both locations. I strongly encourage this option, as our economy is about to plummit. If you know for a FACT already that the sheduling would be impossible, then perhaps discuss a schedule change, and find out what can be worked out. Otherwise, All I can say is that you should pick the job that is giving you more hours, and more per hour(if this is hourly wage). I really think it is quite obvious where the economy is headed!
