Selling on eBay - Money Holding Question (Easy Points!!!)?

• Hey answerers, Okay, So I have a question about selling on eBay. I'm new to selling and i was wondering this... When someone buys one of the items from my shop - How exactly do i get the money? I know it goes into like a holding thing, But what does the buyer have to do before the sale is complete and I get money for selling my product to the buyer? Thanks a lot - This may be a stupid question but i would rather be safe than sorry X_X

  Ebay should give you a notice when payment has been received. When you are new to selling, Ebay will not let you withdraw your funds for a week or two as a measure to protect buyers since new sellers do not have much feedback. With that being said, if you go to "My Ebay", then click "Sell", then click "sold", there should be a sidebar on the lower left half of the page that says "totals". Within the sidebar there should be a section that says "payments (last 31 days)". Within the section should be the amount of money you have received from your sales. However, since you are new to Ebay, they probably will not let you physically withdraw the money into cash for a few days to a week, but rest assured, you can ship the item confidently because you have received the payment if it show's up in the totals sidebar.
