What are some businesses to start that can make a lot of money?

  • What are some businesses to start that can make a lot of money but don't require much of a start up cost? I am 19 and always wanted to own my own busiess and make a good living off of it but I am having difficulty deciding what to start! Any ideas?

    Simple is best and the first business you start doesn't necessarily have to be the one your committed to your whole life. The idea is to make enough money to make better financed business decisions. That said here are some of my ideas. A friend of mine at school used his van to operate a courier service. He advertised with index cards and within four months he had three more vans and had hired some boys from the class to drive them. Items to be couriered are pieces of furniture, legal documents, shopping for those who cant, library books etc... Keep it local and manageable and finance your next big idea. Another idea I have had for a long time is to find another business whose logo and advertising could stand improvement. Put together a well laid out proposal for a new logo and advertising, offer maybe three different ideas and see if they pay you to take it on.
