What would you give to your hostess at a Mary Kay party?

mary kay is a bad career plan. they take your money and don't actually pay you unless you can rake in BIG BUCKS. and they're supposed to "empower" women.... ugh...

I think in-home business are the way to go! Tons of taxes write off and profit. Yes it is not a get rich quick scam. It's all about building relationships and making friends. I have several great friends who are in the MK biz and love it. As a hostess they have given me anything from discounts to free product and gift that they buy throught their company. I think $10 is a little low. I too am in a in-home biz. I shower my hostess with tons of gifts, samples and discounts. They are my life line without them I would not have a biz. These are some example of what I currently give my hostessess: * Free product of the month ~ ($9-25 value) keeping the original date. * "Get Lucky Bag" for booking the party~ has about 3-5 samples inside an organza bag....it's great to fit a small toy inside($4 value.) * Free shipping at their party.($6.00 value) * Free massage set when three ladies book a party before you party ends. ($23 value) * $15 in Pa$$ion Credit for returning the guest list within 3-5 after booking the party! *.*.*. Plus 10% of the party retail sale when the party is $350.00 and more! So they walk home with: $4 + $6 +$10 $15 = $45 buck just by having the party! This is the way I see it...If I shower her with tons of gifts from my biz....I am not lossing anything. I know she well come back to host a party again..and again....and again...Which will equal repeat hostess and even more biz.I hope I gave you some ideas.... Actually, I like to offer my hostesses...if they have at least two people other than them, $75 for $35....they are getting a great discount and you don't have to worry about what to give each hostess...
