I think word of mouth is probably the best way to do it because babysitting isn't a proper job..or rather baby sitting services wouldn't hire 13 year olds, get your mum to tell her friends, post it on facebook ect.

you should try advertising on local craigslist. but you're 13 so... this is usually hooked up.

Put up flyers around your neighborhood, town, city or whatever. Have your number and experiences(if any) on there as well so they know how to contact you and know if good with kids.

You can go to places like nannies4hire.com and post your experience and that you can work either full time in the summer or part-time. You need to be ready with a list of references (Not just family) people you have watched kids for before and neighbors who know your character. And have an idea of how much you want as far as pay. With you being so young you could really get some business because you don't require so much pay. Good luck!!

I would put an ad in the paper or put up fliers. Try something like http://www.ehow.com/how_2221611_create-babysitting-flyers.html to know what to put on them. :) Also, if you want younger kids, it'd probably be a good idea to get training in CPR and other classes. If you get a job, make sure to know the child's allergies to be sure they're not around things that could make them sick.

All of the ways people have put are really good but the fact that you are only 13 would put people off because you are almost a child yourself, it is also a very big responsibility and alot of things could go wrong. In my opinion it is unlikely anyone would be interested,, sorry.
