How to get a job in Canberra ACT, and what skills and stuff do i need to get one?

  • Hey peoples, i am looking for a job in Canberra, ACT, more in the Belconnon (2615) side of Canberra. I have been looking around everywhere and i havnt had any luck finding one, its kinda starting to really annoy me because well i need an income for myself as a teenager uno. I am a 14 yr old Male in year 8 Works and builds with computers a lot. Have been going to the gym 2 - 4 times a week if i get time. Sometimes work with my dad as a cement render-er make mix mud/ pass mud, bit and peices. I dont know if that helps but if i could get help on finding a job that would AWSOME :D cheerz.

    G'day Phil, Thank you for your question. Canberra is a good place to find a job as it has the lowest unemployment rate in Australia. However, you will probably need to be older than 14 unless you are after an after-school job. I would check with shops, fast food restaurants etc. The computer skills will also be useful as you get older as there is a lot of work for IT professionals in Canberra. Regards
