How can I get more customers for my online business?

How do I get customers for my business?

  • I want to make short affordable business videos for websites. I was quite enthusiastic and fully motivated but there's no interest. I've emailed local businesses and offered very low prices too. Any ideas on how I can get customers?

    I think your target market would be advertising/marketing agencies- speak with them. It sounds to me like your videos would be a small part of a marketing campaign. My business was very successful just by putting clever ads in the yellow pages- which will also market online for you. I would make a few clever video ads for some major names, then present them for free to the company CEO's in hopes of getting future paid assignments or recomendations. Be flexible- can you do wedding videos? People will ignore emails, you have to find a way to speak with them face to face. I think you will be successful because you are smart enough to ask this question in this forum. Hope I was of some help. Best of luck to you in the new year.

The trouble these days is that business owners are constantly bombarded with advertising so are very good and blanking it out. You could offer some for free in exchange for testimonials and you'll probably find you get some referrals. Business is about WHO you know.
