How can I find a Suitable Job in USA?

Can i find a decent job in Las Vegas, USA, at the age of 17?

  • My age is 17, done my schooling wid arts subjects. I have lost my family and everything in my life. I m homeless. I don't even have enough money to start a mini-business. I want to work in Las Vegas, USA. I want a job. I don't have a health card or any job experience. Do i have a chance of finding a decent job??? Less salary, time shifts and kind of job is not a problem. I require urgent help. Please do help me in whatever way you can. I humbly request u all.

    Wow, that sounds pretty tough. I wouldn't be too picky with your job choices. There is always fastfood places. You can ask the manager or a co-worker if they can help you out with showers and clothes. There are nice people out there that can help you. Go to your churches and hospitals for help.

Ok , First..do your math find out what you are good at. second , find a place that is customer friendly,look at the local ads in the newspaper ..locate the place an check your surrounding of the place your wanting to work at? meaning - the rules,the people, you know , just some common sense ..as the old sayin trust your feelin...

Hello, all you have to do is to go to a store and tr to apply otherwise if you have a computer then yu can search up a store and you might find a store that's hiring GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS YOU

Try to be a door man or bust boy at a high end hotel/ or a nice one and ask if you can pay to lease a room until you can either work your way up, get into school or something. Whatever you do, always have a plan. First priority, is to get a place to stay, second a job and third school. Or you could chat with a university counselor, they might lead you in the right direction. Or speak with a recruiter if you want, National Guard, Navy, Army, Marines.

Your olnly 17 your still a minor. Do what ever you can in the area you live in to get on your feet. Go to career centers tell them your problem, do not be embarrassed or be afraid of what someone else thinks. If you need a job and are homeless looks up places that help younger homeless people. Yes you can get a job! You should go to school!! They will help you. There is way too many oppertunites out there not to do anything. Dont wait on anything its just leaves you fallin behind. Just try to get your life started and stay positive surround your self around positiive people.

I'm thinking your at the library if your on a computer. If you have access to a computer you should be able to find a job. Vegas isn't the best place for a child to find work, Go to the state assistance unless your emancipated. Just put your feelers out and don't settle.
