  • hi, i need to know the names of popular retailers in the EU, that compete with NEXT. (name me shops apart from D. P, house of fraser, mkone, new look, marks n spencer.) if you can please give me a source! and a good list of shops. and competitions between the stores (anything about that anol). (this is for my business assignment). thanks alot .

    C&A has quit Britain but is still big in Europe, especially Benelux. H&M (Hennes & Mauritz) are also European.

tax in Britain means that most retailers will sell any brand of clothing and the competition is to offer it at the lowest price , the winner of this competition will be able to sell a product at only 5 times its market value in the U,S thus making a very small profit after tax . don't you just love democracy !

H&M? I know their clothes are alot cheaper, but h&m are one of the largest in Europe as far as I know. Either that or something like Dorothy Perkins

Oasis, monsoon, wallis. Mkone and newlook aren't really competitors, they are targeting the bottom end of the market (teenagers,people on low incomes) where as next are aiming for career women. you could try contacting next through their website they may be able to help

well when i saw your question headline my first response was NEXT! what about Adams for kids clothes - i should imagine they have a good market share in that. And what about mail order/catalogues - Freeman's, empire, look again, Kay's etc?
