How to attract customers to a garage sale?

• okay, so I'm 13 , and my friend Monica is 12, thirteen in October , today we are having a garage sale until Saturday, we need to make a lot of money , but this isn't the ONLY thing were doing to raise the money..the other day we had a lemonade stand and made 20 dollars charging only 25 cent's a cup..but anyways, i need a way to attract customers in, we already put a add in the newspaper , and put up signs on all the busy streets. Some things about us that may help ? I'm extremely loud, not shy at all , used to be a cheerleader , + i LOVE people , and having fun.

  When I drive by a yard sale, if I only see cloth, I don't stop. I think you have to feature, show, a variety of thing so people don't know what you have and stop, but you also need a variety of things to see what sells and to make some sales. If it's all one thing, only people looking for that will stop and they won't have a chance for something else to catch their eye. Their are web sites that specialize telling you what to do. For instance in some areas maybe and add in a free newspaper or a sign saying give aways, if you have some free stuff. Low prices might work, but have some high ones too. But mostly people are looking for bargains. A lot of clear sign are important to and if your neighbors are having them too you can advertise on you signs multifamily yard sales or something. I love people dearly myself. Just don't be too, too trusting. LOL
