From where i can get donations for poor girl children?

I am a social worker; I help the local maid servants of my area and their small girl children by solving their day to day problems. I am a middle class housewife so I don’t have money to help them with their monetary needs, but I wish to do something for them because I am deeply hurt by their condition. I have a god gifted talent of painting so I wish to organize a painting exhibition. The money collected by this exhibition will be used for the welfare of these maids.

My hats off to ep 1909 very nice. Something else you might want to consider is using you local Media ie: radio and TV. A raffle is another way of drawing money. Doing some sort of entertainment night gig using local talent , volunteer of course, to have a donation evening. Food for thought.
