How much should I charge as a self employed personal assistant?
-
I currently work for an agency as a home carer and paid through my own limited company. However I am moving at the beginning of next month and looking at becoming a self-employed PA (hopefully, eventually, employing carers to work for me). How would I go about working out my hourly rate to make a profit, pay myself, cover holidays when I'm off etc? Thanks

Answer:
Work out how much everything costs and then add a profit loading.

do a biz plan and when you get to the proforma, and income statement/balance sheet, just flip it upside down [my invention 40 yrs ago] start with what you need to put in your pocket AFTER taxes. I can guide you further
