What is a good fundraiser for youth?

Youth Group Fundraiser?

• Do you have any ideas for some fundraisers that our church youth group could do? We're going to be hosting a dinner and have been doing bakesales to raise money for a mission trip to Mexico. Any ideas or websites that have good ideas would be great. P.S. We aren't going to do any fundraising by selling things like magazines or anything. Thanks :)

  One Word, AUCTION! We had one at our church for a China Missions trip and we collected items from the congregation and had an auctioneer who was a member do the auctioning. We also had food and snacks and made a cool afternoon of it. In the end the congregation gave their "stuff" and others bought it. we made enough for all 10 members to fund their trip 100% and then some. It take a lot of pulling together but wow the payoff. We also had a trivia night where people bought tables to bring their friends to. we would then ask questions and in between groups of questions we would auction off lies and cakes and other food items, a couple of cakes went for 400 bucks, We all realized going into it we were going to support missions and hey that's OK. It was a blast.
