How much profit can be made with Cafe Press?

• I've been considering launching my own sportswear (primarily tees) for some time now but the risk reward doesn't seem in the right direction for me at the moment. I already design tees for another company and am comfortable with how to design, I just wonder how much profit there is to be made on Cafe Press. Can anybody give examples of profits they've earned from cafepress.com? I'm looking for how much profit you were making per 1 sale and how many overall sales were you able to make.

  I'm pretty happy with my Cafe Press site. I actually have four or five stores on the site, but only two of them ever sell anything. The prices are pretty high, I think, but it's unique stuff. You set your own price. I charge $4 above the base price, so I make $4 for every item I sell. I have one design that is for dancers. It earned me $108 last year. Another designed earned me $115, and a third design earned $8 last year. Those are my earnings above Cafe Press costs. So I made a total of $231. Considering that I don't do any marketing on my own, I think that's not too bad. I'm sure there are people who work much harder at it and make much more money.
