Can you really make money selling the Pampered Chef??

Like someone said, this would not be a part-time job. With that said, do you really want to offer a product that if people really wanted, they could just go to the store or shop online and get it themselves? It doesn't make much business sense. I mean, other than getting a few of your family members/friends to buy something (good luck), unless you plan on investing some money into getting your name/product out into the market, it won't got very far. The idea with these types of things is getting return customers, MaryKay works because after a couple of months, customers return wanting/needing more. Pampered Chef, don't they have a lifetime guarantee? Something to think about. If you're looking into making a little extra money while you are at home, think about what you love doing. The world of e-commerce is at your fingertips, you just find what you like doing, make it sellable and watch it happen. It does take work, but you are doing something you love. Something you create, you can call your own and it will be unique if you put some thought into it.

I have often wondered 'bout becoming a consultant of one of the various home party things. I think the way to become successful at it is to make sure that the people you don't know @ the parties book one themselves. Meaning if you invite your sister and she brings a friend make every effort to get her friend to book a party. By doing that you expand your network so then when your sisters friend has her party you can book others with people you don't know. Follow me?? The other thing might be to figure out the amount of money you'd like to make and then figure out how many parties you need to do a month to accomplish that. Maybe the "kit" with Pampered Chef already provides that info. Another thing I've thought about is if a consumable company might be more profitable since your existing clientèle would come back to you to buy more. Working for Pampered Chef or another similar company might limit your return business. Best of luck in whatever you decide to do.

I am with a different direct sales company. My advice would be you need to LOVE what you do if you are in Love with the product and believe in the company then you can do well. I believe as a pampered chef consultant you only make 20% which is very low compared to what I do. So again it really depends on your love for iut I could never do it too much work for too little money that's just my opionion.
