When is the best time and day of the week to list an auction item on ebay?

    I think if you have more then one item to list then place the other on biddingbay.co.uk, with no charges then you've nothing to lose, as for eBay if you do 7 days on a saturday then the search engine is there for the weekend submissions and anyone wanting to do a last minute bid can be at home to do so, all the best but watch those charges because they soon add up even if you don't sell the item, and adds up mor if you do!!!

I found the best time to be Friday morning through to Sunday night. Reason ? 1000's of people are sitting at home searching through Ebay.

When listing on eBay you have to consider the start and end time. Listings end in whole day increments fromt the listing's start time. So, if you submit a 7 day auction listing at 5 pm Saturday it will end at 5 pm that following Friday. Also, your listing will be PST since eBay is in California. So you want to get the most of your listing by listing it late in the evening. That way it gives people time to get off work to shop online before they go to bed. You also want to consider multiple time zones and ensure it has maximum exposure when you list.
