How do you start a youth group in AZ?

How do I start a group home for at-risk youth in California?

• I have a house and credentials as an MFT and would like to start a group home for girls. Can anyone explain the ins-and-outs of starting this type of business? Specifically, what are the obstacles as far as the county and state go; how much startup capital do I need; what kinds of problems will I encounter while managing a group home for a teen population with addiction and/or emotional problems / criminal backrounds? There is a group home down the street from me, in a residential environment, will this be a problem? I saw a few books on Amazon and there is a group home license that is needed, but besides that I don't know anything abou tit. Any guidance would be appreciated Thanks :)

  you know that the more negative situations you bring to a neighborhood, the more you will get local residents to hate you for hurting their NOT yet property values rising. I feel "convert institutions" should not be located in a "regular neighborhood." your empathy is great but if neighbors bring you some of THEIR problems, in not so legal ways, do not be amazed.
