How can I get username into shortcode?

Should I get a different etsy username or keep my current one? (Even though it has nothing to do with my shop)?

• Alright, well a year ago I created my etsy account (and a shop where I never listed anything) and being a newbie, I made my username the same as that shop name. I've since closed that shop and I want to make a different one. The thing is, my username has nothing to do with the etsy shop I'm planning on opening. Should I make an entirely different account with a new username (which, honestly, seems like a hassle) or keep the one I have (which I'm reluctant to do)? Also, I made a couple purchases which I've already paid for, but haven't yet received in the mail. I made the purchase on Saturday so I know that it can't be shipped until Tuesday. Should I wait to close my current account until I receive the items I bought?

  You can now change your etsy SHOP name to anything you want, at least one time. For example, my etsy user name was "yahzmin" (go figure!). But my SHOP was called "MMMinis". SO, although my banner at the top said that, the "Home" name of my shop showed as Yahzmin (sigh!). I have since changed my 'shop name' on my etsy profile and now it shows correctly at the top of my etsy shop, to match the banner there.
