Screen printing artwork?

For starting a screen printing business what is the best equipment, dtg printer or actual screen printing equi

• I'm thinking of starting a small business in screen printing. I'm wondering what the best route to go with starting out. I see the dtg(direct to garment) equipment has come down in cost compared to a year ago. I'm wondering if it is better to go that route or do it with the normal screen printing equipment?? Any information would be great. Thanks everyone

  Honestly,if your just starting out i would get a good used set incase it flops. Its risky starting a buisness these days and i would rather flop on a $5000 set of screen printers than to go out and buy a new set for $15,000 and flop on those. Ebay has a lot of new and used screen printers for sale. I bought a used vinyl cutter for my personal use for 1/3 the cost new and it works and looks like new.
