Why haven't I received my package from USPS?

What can i do when i never received a package that was said delivered by USPS?

• I ordered a Perfume from amazon.com, according to the order information it was shipped on sept 3rd and i checked on with usps and on their website it's said that my package was delivered on sept 9. I had been waiting this whole time thinking that my package was just late... Now i don't know what to do, i am really pissed, i spent my money in this Perfume and i never received it, and i will never received it... This is not fair... I am sure my package was never delivered by usps, the date and time they said it was delivered i was home,i am always home at this time. Even if they had to leave it at the door, where i leave, there is no risk that someone else takes it. It is a safe neighbor hood and my neighbors in my building are my friends. What am i supposed to do when something like that happen? I will not let it go this time, i lost my money several time in things like that, it is not happening this time.

  1. verify correct address with sender 2. was there a tracking number? ask at PO in person for the address that tracking number was delivered to. 3. find out from PO who the carrier was who delivered it and ask them in person [if possible] where, exactly, the package was left. GL
