depends what your target market is-- real surfers or the wanna-be's? because your branding will depend on which market you'll serve. assuming you're not a surfer (which looks to be the case), go for the kook market and brand your product line "KOOK PROOF" as an inside joke. who knows you might end up with a winner. as for product line, consider everything that's essential for posing/preening. they may not even need to be related to actual surfing. btw real surfers don't care what brand they buy as long as the product works according to its purpose.
