Start an employment agency for stay-at-home moms. Call it "The Mom Squad". You can spend your spare time calling on businesses in your area, talking to Human Resource people and letting them know what kind of talent is available to them from moms that have domestic obligations that prevent them from spending 8 hours chained to a desk. Be sure you run an ad in the part-time employment classified column of a newspaper that covers the same territory you intend to service. You'll find there's alot of moms that can spend 3 to 5 hours at an office while the kids are in school. You'll also find that there's alot of businesses that have word processing and other computer tasks that could just as easily be outsourced as done in-house. Don't hesitate contacting small businesses as well. There's many small businesses that aren't staffed for the many errands that come up in the course of running a business. Let them know that you have moms with cars that can pick-up & drop off and are above-average intellegence who can pick up the slack for them. You can even have a "riot squad" of gals who are willing to pick up and go to a business in 10 minutes if the business finds themselves caught short-staffed or gets way too busy (restraunts experience this often). Be sure you charge extra, of course. You can keep your overhead low by working out of your home. Bingo! You've created your own job! .

I have made my sole income e-bay selling. I am a single mom, and live in southern california, (very expensive), but I am managing. I started out selling stuff I already had, not I go to thrift stores and find designer jeans for cheap and sell them. You can make your own hours, set your own prices, (or auction, it;s up to you) but I would recommend it to anyone. Good luck!

More and more people are looking to join the on-line work from home businesses where they can enjoy tax benefits, flexible hours and the freedom of being their own boss while earning a residual income. Not only is it a lifestyle and source of financial freedom, people are enjoying the added benefit of being able to be around their family more than if they were out "at" a job, something that is once again becoming important to society even though we all need that second income while raising our children. If that's something that you're looking into, then start figuring out what the current market trend is, find something in that trend that excites you....something you'd really enjoy doing and start researching companies from there. Of course, you want to beware of that "get rich quick" and "pay us this amount of money and we'll show you how" sort of thing. Run Forest run! You know that's gotta be a bad deal. Of the companies that appear to be legitimite, check out what they're offering you and if that fits what you want, and if it does, then look even harder - inside and out - at that company. Find out what kind of training and ongoing support they'll offer you as well as that can be such a crucial point to your success. Once you're satisfied that everything is above board, then go for it! The trend is swinging very quickly to on-line home based businesses and it can be very lucrative

I am in your shoes. I have been looking for something other than baby sitting or MLM's since my 15 year old was born. I am now taking an online course to earn my AA degree that has a concentration in Medical Billing and Coding. I want to do medical billing from home. You don't need to go to a University like I am though. There is also a course that earns a diploma for medical billing and coding that sounds like it covers more ground on the medical billing than the classes I am taking. I will list both for you in case you are interested. The Online University I am attending is AIU Online and the web address is: http://www.aiuonline.edu/ The school to earn a diploma is Penn Foster and it sounds really good. Here is the web address: http://www.pennfoster.edu/medic/index.html Penn Foster is only around $1200.00 for CA residence and around $900.00 for other states. Penn Foster lets you make a $20 down payment and small monthly payments of around $40 dollars. There are 46 lessons I think. You work from home at your own pace. It sounds really good. AIU Online is around $19,000.00. It takes about a year and there are 4 assignments due weekly. I hope this helps.

Hi there.. Why don't you try approaching the shops you frequent e.g the spa, baby supplies shops, grocery store, etc..and propose to the owner for you to help them market their business online? Then once you secure the job, you can either set up a free blog or a squidoo page for their business...and help them promote their services or any special offers/sales they have. You can also consider charging less if they can give you another 3 referral for example. If you need more ideas, try checking out this report: http://simurl.com/quickmoneyideas hope this helps ;)
