How long does it take the recipient to get their money from paypal?

How long should it take for me to get my money from e-bay sales person?

• I had a person who I thought I could trust sell some things for me on e-bay. He had done it for a friend of mine and she had no complaints and got her money in less than a month. Well, I gave him the stuff to sell 6 weeks ago. 3 weeks ago, he had told me it all sold and that I would be getting a little over $300.00 back. A week later, he gave me $160.00. I called him tonight asking for the rest of my money, and he got upset...asking me "so what are you trying to say?" These people have a rep for spending money going out to nice dinners and such instead of paying their bills (I found this out later). I still stuck to my guns and told him that I expect my money soon. Am I being unreasonable? I have had things sold for me before and it didn't take NEARLY this long!

  DId you have any kind of contract with this person? 6 weeks definitely is an awful long time for payment. There are lots of people out there who will take advantage of us. Ebay is very simple you should do it yourself and collect all the money for your stuff.
