What do you consider is the most important when working with customers?

#1 Rule of Thumb with customers and everyone in general is always treat others as you would like to be treated. That pretty much covers almost all situations.

The customer is always right!

The most important thing is, (like Starbucks) you make your consumers enjoy the experience buying your product or service. becsause it ensures patronage and builds brand loyalty.

i have aprox 7 years in retial and every company wants diffrent things , here are my top 3 for keeping custmers 1 - Make there experiance personal - every custmer is an individual talk to them like it if an old women comes in be soft and calm if a young couple come in be a bit more liveley, give them there own sales person 2 - always ask them what they want , either directly or with groupings of questions find out what they want so that you can give them it 3 - Never lie to a custmer - but that dosent mean you have to tell them the truth, give them just enough so that they can make up there own mind about what happens EG. all our products are mixed in store ( you might mix them but that dosent mean you cooked everything else you just put the last parts together ) OR - we dont test any of our products on animals - you might not but the designer or factorys might - simpel rule of thumb with people - talk to them like you know what your saying - look like you know what you are doing and it dosent matter what you say or do people will belive that you belong
