I answered a question to you a couple weeks ago on home based businesses. I suggest you take a look at different ones. I know it's been a couple of weeks, and I don't know what all you are interested in doing other then ebay. I'll tell you a little bit about what my husband are involved in. Having a home based business is a really good option! In order to have a successful business, you need to find something that you believe in and sale a product that everyone needs and would use on a daily bases. The income opportunity is incredible in home based business. Less over head then the traditional businesses have. Most home based business cost under $500. Some cost more depending on what it is you want to do. I don't know everything that you like to do, so I can only tell you what my husband and I started over six years ago and point you out to some others to take a look at. Our business well supports our family of six. We have four children ages 10, 6, 3 and 1. We got involved in the telecommunications industry with a world wide company that's over 15 years old. We've been featured in several magazines Inc 500 rated us the 22nd fastest growing company. They offer services that people use every day and pay for anyway, but now they can have a lower cost. Services such as local and long distance phones, Internet, digital phones, video phones (you can see the person your taking to live)VOIP, Satellite TV, and all the major cellular phone companies like Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Alltell, Nextell etc. have partnered up with them too. How many people do you know, or know of, that uses one or more of these services? How would you feel if you could save people money on services that they're already using, or offer them services that they don't have but want? Every time they pay their bills each month, you make a percentage off these bills every single month. Huge income opportunity. It's incredible how much money is involved in this industry. If you'd like more information feel free to email me and I'll be happy to pass it along to you. I also created a blog on my 360 page on home based business's. There's over half a dozen different ones to take a look at. Your more then welcome to browse through them. If you find one that's interesting, contact the person who wrote it and they can point you out in the right direction. Tiffany

Based on your own description of yourself, it occurs to me that you might find your niche in blogging. One example of a blogger who writes about tech stuff and making money online would be John Chow. He also runs http://www.thetechzone.com, a site dedicated to tech stuff. You could model your blog after his although it would be a really tough act to follow. Still, I always believe that the online pie is growing everyday and is BIG enough for EVERYONE to have a slice. So here's a basic idea of how you would combine your skills, personality and business interests with your blog : Create a blog based on technological innovations, either general or within a specific area (business, IT, banking etc).- Write compelling and objective reviews, news and opinions about technical stuff. People are ALWAYS looking for reviews of products before they buy them. Since you say you are very intuitive, then you should have a nose for sniffing out products that are going to be hot. Scour the web for new product launches or products still in development and write about them - be the first to break the news. Generally speaking, once you have solid, helpful content, people will find your blog on their own. Along with significant traffic to your blog will come money making opportunities in the form of advertisers, pay-per-click ad opportunities and affiliate sales. When you've built a level of trust via your blog, people are more likely to buy products based on your recommendation. Just be sure to direct them via affiliate links from your blog or emails so you earn your commisions. I must conclude by saying that blogging is not the only way to make money. With your learning and research skills, it shouldn't be a problem for you to pick up any other business skills. Selling and making money consistently on eBAY is not as easy as it is made out to be. There is a steep learning curve (like every other business), but you seem to be someone who can handle it. All the best! Andrew http://www.positivemoneyideas.com

You are probably receiving a lot of information about possible work from home jobs. I have been in your shoes and have spent many hours online researching and trying to find the right one. The one thing that I ended up figuring out is that there are no true work from home "jobs." In a work from home job you usually start out working for a company and then for whatever reason, sometimes, the company will let you take your job home; thus work from home job. However, there are many work from home “opportunities.” These opportunities provide you with the vehicle to work from home and build your own business. The difficult or frustrating part about finding the right opportunity is that there are many offers that are not legitimate, but scams. Theses scams make it difficult for the companies that truly offer a legitimate opportunity to work from home. Usually, work from home opportunities have a small investment to start your own business. These are okay as long as they are around $100, anything much more than that and I would stay away. Also if they require a monthly overhead to run the business it should include things like your websites, training, back office system, and support. Remember any business that you start and want to continue (whether it’s retail, restaurant, or home-based) will always have start up costs and monthly expenses. I am a stay at home mother of 2 (ages 4 and 2). My husband works 6 days a week and I do not have much help in the area of child care for my children. On my journey to finding the right work from home opportunity I tried everything from selling vitamins, lotions and many other product based companies. I also looked into processing information online. What I realized with all these companies is that I usually put more money back into my business and ended up with lots of product I really did not need. I also was very skeptical of some of those online work from home websites that really never got to the point of what I would be doing to earn income. Finally, I was given information on a legitimate work from home company. At first I was very skeptical and paid no attention to the information. Then one day my mother needed to have some dental work done but had no insurance. I remembered that I had some information on discount dental plans. Once I researched the information I had been given, I realized that I could provide my mother with a way to pay less for her procedure and earn an income for signing her onto the discount dental plan. I have been with the company since and am on the fast track toward building a residual income. I work 15 hours a week (give or take a few) for a National Discount Medical Benefits Company. The company has been in business for over 16 years and is continuing to expand! We have been featured on "60 minutes", "The New York Times", "Wall Street Journal", "Time Magazine", and "American Medical Review" as one of the most reputable, legitimate home based companies. We are members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Dental Plans and the owner of the company sits on the board of The Consumer Health Alliance, which we are also a part of their membership. Our company addresses the number one problem in US, which is that 70% of Americans can't afford or can't get health insurance for whatever reason. We are an alternative for people who are suffering with their health because of this issue. Now to work for our company you don't have to know everything there is to know about Health Care. Our company will train you on how to communicate our services to those who need it. We have over 2 million members that use our plans and save money on their health care. When you work for the company you are able to set your own hours and build a residual income while you work. Because we get paid month after month, year after year for the work we do our income is always increasing and we get paid even when we don’t work. The company also does not enforce a monthly quota, which was important to me. I wanted to have the flexibility to work when I wanted and how much I wanted. Of course the more you put into your business the more income you will receive. Some of the benefits we offer are 401k, direct deposit, life insurance and a family benefit package for your entire household. The next best thing is there is no cold calling, telemarketing, stocking of inventory, collecting of payments, and no home parties! This was very important to me as I had the child care issue to deal with and wanted to be able to stay home and work without having to leave my house. Another great thing about our company is that we all work together to as a team. We are not out to compete with our fellow representatives. Whenever I need advice my team is there to help me to be a success. This was also very important as I was new to the business and wanted the team support you get working a 9-5 job without having to work the 9-5 job. I have also made many friends along the way and still have the interaction with adults while taking care of my children at home. I guess I could go on and on about what we do and how we get paid, but the best thing for you to do is research the company for yourself and determine if it is right for you. Anyway I think you have probably done the job thing like I have and realized like I did about a few years ago that working for yourself if possible, is actually more exciting and lucretive. I can tell you tha your on the right track! I found something I absolutely love, and it helps people, the organization is made up of fabulous people, and you can make great money in only a few months. It's in the TV infomercial business with names like Kevin Tradauoe and Donald Barett, I have met both. They run the infomercials on all types of 100% natural products, very tastefull, with legitamte doctors and very educated people. We take the orders 24/7 whenever we want. People in my group are making 10, 20, 50k on the orders and reorders residually, and you can build a downline of other popole that work under you. It was been the funnest most rewarding business. I have so much more to say but its getting late. email me I will show you how it works! [email protected]

Hi Michelle, eBay is a great choice for starting a home business, especially if you like selling stuff online. Try selling stuff you have a passion for, like a hobby or craft related items. Electronic items are popular but the margins are also lower. If you want a quick start ebay business system, check out the ebay toolkit below.
