How Do I Get My Merchandise into Stores?

Want to know how to get merchandise into small gift stores.?

• I have a couple of small items that would sell in gift stores. Alot of stores say that they order there merchandise from a list. Does anyone have any information on this. I'm not looking for big retail chains, just small independent stores.

  No, No, No...You don't call them, my friend. They are more than likely just going to blow you off. It's much easier and a more effective if you just go into their establishment and shake their hands with a warm and professional greeting. Before you let their hand go, you literally put you product in their hand. Let them see and feel you product, then let them hear it. Be sure to NEVER interrupt their business and always respect their customers while in their store. This will show that you are respectful of their business and courteous to their customers. Be patient because rejection is a part of this profession. Try to get a sale in every approach and keep in mind that they may only be willing to carry your product on an consignment basis. If that occurs, have a preset price figured out because you have to charge more money for your product when it's sold on a consignment basis because that's product out of you hand. Always thank them for their time when you first meet them and as you are leaving their establishment even if you don't get the sale. Since the profit margin is so very high, you will be successful!!!
