Do I need a business license to sell items from a drop shipper on eBay?

  • The reason why I asked this question is because I was looking at getting a business kit from a dropshipper and looked at selling their items on eBay. So would a business license be required for this purpose?

    The law in your city probably says yes, but if I were you I would not do it until you are making plenty of money. Soon all of us doing business on the internet will be taxed. Then you can get the licenses required.

I was reading somewhere that yes you do and you have to pay taxes but,I'm no expert I'm looking into doing the same thing actually

Probably, but you can probably get away without it. I'd be more concerned about your dropshipper. Most are scams.
