What are Data Entry Jobs on the internet?

Are all internet based data entry jobs legal? are these not scams jsut to get other peoples money ?

    They are all scams. There is absolutely no need to do data entry over the internet. When you buy something on the internet, you enter your own data for them. They either charge you to join, or trick you some other way into doing something you should not be doing.
