What are some good names for a retail shop?

What would be some good names for a Goth shop?

  • I want to open a Goth shop targeted at both men and women in their mid-teens to early twenties. It'll have a wide variety of products that will appeal to everyone from cybers, rivetheads, even corp. Goths and perky goths. I'm thinking something like: Malice in Wonderland Batty Cake Rabbit Hole inc. Dark Delicacies Nu Threads Dark Threads Black Market Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Some goth shops I have been to... "The Assylum" "Dungeon" and One called Exile. I really like Malice in Wonderland. I like Batty Cake too, because you could have a bat as your symbol. And I have a thing for bats. Weird, I know. Masochist Mansion Raving Lunatic hahaha Idk, I think I need sleep.

Batty Cake is cute! Malice in Wonderland is good, but I think it's trademarked. Cut the malice and just call it Wonderland? It sounds corny, but you could put on a dark, American McGee style decor theme in your shop :) Alternately, I love Rabbit Hole inc.

I wouldn't go for Black Market because it will sound like you're selling illegal poaching products like ivory or rare animal fur. I think the best name you have come up with is Dark Delicacies, As someone else has already said Malice in Wonderland & Dark Threads has already been taken unfortunatly. You need to do some research and stay clear from names like The Asylum because that's an Emilie Autumn album. You don't want to get into trouble because you used a copyrighted name from an artists album or clothesline.

Dark threads has been done before. And I wouldn't do anything like "black market" if you want to appeal to cybers. If I were you, I'd name it "The Black Raven". You could do a raven as your logo, and as far as I know, it's never been done before. Good luck with your shop, that's an awesome idea. It would be nice to have something besides hot topic and whatever you can find online. edit: By the way, "the asylum" is an album by Emilie Autumn. I wouldn't use that if I were you.

Goth Becomes You I like Batty Cake too. malice in Wonderland is from Ozzy Osbourne, I wouldn't use that. It has been trademarked. Batty Cake, with a bat as your symbol,I like that. "Goth Becomes You", is a new take on Death Becomes You. I think that was a movie.
