Breast cancer benefit ideas?

• It has been a dream of mine for a while to throw a really successful cancer benefit for Susan G. Komen foundation. I am a teenager, but I am lucky enough to live in a community that accepts teenage ideas and works well with younger people with vision. We have a venue, so that isn't a problem. I need to know about: FOOD! How many people to invite, or should it just be on posters for anyone to come? Dress code..formal, casual, etc And finally what time of day should I have it? I am thinking evening would be very nice...opinions?

  That is so sweet of you for wanting to have a fund raising event for breast cancer. I really admire you very much for wanting to do something like this. That really is fantastic! As far as food goes, well, you could have family and friends make up different types of food. You could have one big cook out with hot dogs and hamburgers. Have a bake sale and let the proceeds go towards your cause. I'm thinking too of a tag sale or yard sale type thing. Have family and friends bring in things that the no longer want or need and sell them at reasonable prices. You could have raffles too. Seeing summer is on it's way you could raffle off things like a small grill, grill utensils, what ever you think would work. I would invite as many people as you can. Let family and friends come up with a list of people to invite. They sky is the limit! I honestly wish you so much luck with fund raiser.
