Is this a bladder cyst?

Can anyone help with this possible Bladder issue?

  • I'm 32 and female. Over the last 7 or 8 months I'm having a bit of pelvic pain. In July I had a pelvic ultrasound which showed a cyst on my left ovary. Since then I'm having the pelvic pain. The Hume put me in for another scan today to see if the cyst had gone on it's own accord which it had. But I think something else is going on. The doctor doing the scan kept focusing on one area taking measurements ect and I was in tremendous pain. I know I had a full bladder and that can be very uncomfortable but I was actually crying on the bed and he kept apologising and he said he could feel my body shaking with pain. It was painful just on the area e was focusing on which was more to the middle right side rather than the left where the cyst had been. He asked me had I any bladder isssues and I said I had but I hadn't informed my doctor yet as I hadn't been in awhile. What's been going on is I have lower right pain after I urinate it doesn't hurt me while I'm going but when I'm finished and stand up I get the pain. Also my urine stream seems to have become slower over the last while. Like it's harder to come out. Now this does not happened every time I go but the majority of the time. Has anyone any idea what could be going on? The doctor asked the nurse to hand deliver my scan to the Gyne now rather than email Or whatever they usually do! Then he asked me when my next appointment with her was I said start of January and he said that's great and he thinks the cyst I had might have been '' a red herring for me''' whatever that means? Any clues to what's going on guys?? Also should an ultrasound with a full bladder hurt that much?? Previous one didn't hurt at all although it was uncomfortable

Hi MarB, I have read all that you wrote. I am feeling that you are trying to read too much into the doctors actions. You are almost trying to find a diagnosis based on the doctors actions. I hope the following help: Doctors may focus on a spot to rule in or rule out a lesion. The doctor could be focusing on a particular spot because he/she was trying to clearly see a vital area etc. The doctor could have asked the nurse to hand deliver your report because he wanted to speed up the process and close your file. You were in pain but you chose not to complain at that time?
