What does a real sudden sharp pain in your lung mean and a swollen lymph node?!?!?
-
Hi, i keep getting really sudden sharp pains in my right lung. and it really hurts where i don't want to breath but then it goes away. It happens even if im just sitting down watching tv. i was diagnosed with pulmonary nodules about a month ago, im not sure if that has anything to do with it. Also under my left arm in the armpit area there is something swollen, i believe its a swollen lymph node and it has been swollen for awhile now, but doesn't hurt. Please help. thank you.

Answer:
This all may be nothing. However, if it were me, I would demand a chest x-ray and a biopsy of that swollen lymph node. You may be dealing with some type of chronic infection. Remember, cancer doesn't have to hurt. If you know you have pulmonary nodules, aren't they following up on you?
