Do Cell Phone Towers Cause Health Issues?

Does your cell phone heat-up your ear by the end of a 10-min call? Could it cause brain cancer? (details)?

  • A prominent cancer researcher asked his staff to limit their exposure to cell phone radiation today... http://www.cnn.com/2008/HEALTH/conditions/07/23/cancer.cell.phones.ap/index.html Personally I believe it could cause cancer. Does your cell phone heat up your ear by the end of a 10-minute conversation? It does mine!

  • Answer:

Yes, my ear burns after talking on a cell phone for more than a few minutes. Even my fingers warm up too. It sure makes me wonder if we're irradiating our brains too much with these things! I use a bluetooth earpiece now, but even bluetooth devices send out radio waves as well. I figure I'm only swapping out the type of radio waves my brain's getting hit with. Hopefully, the bluetooth radio waves are a little less potent!
