Where can i get info to race/walk for cancer?

• i've been looking for a while online and i cant find what im looking for. my best friend just found out she has leukemia. she's had crohns disease forever and she had a son last october. i want to do something to help out. i am attending a blood drive for her this saturday but i want to do more. i want to know where i can look to find out where i need to go to get info or sign up for any runs or walks for a cure for leukemia. when i look it up all i find is runs for breast cancer or colon cancer. i am looking for runs/walks around the austin texas area. thanks

  http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR?pg=entry&fr_id=32338 this is RELAY FOR LIFE. They hold walks to raise money for EVERY kind of cancer. Its a HUGE event done every year in different states. You can walk as long as you want. It lasts 24 hours. My best friend and i did it last year in AZ for 12 hours. From 6 pm to 6 am. You can take food and set up a tent for when you need to relax and they serve food at 3 am. Lots of different organizations go to help. They sell everything from shirts, bottles, chap sticks, bracelets, food and more. They have booths of information and games to raise money. They also do a candle light for those who past and they have candles all over the track. The one in Austin Texas is in 72 days at the Yellow Jacket Stadium :D
