Ways to lighten eye color?

• I have dark brown eyes and I've always wanted to lighten them to a hazel or light brown. I've heard of mixing a few drops of honey with boiled water and letting it cool before dripping some in your eyes. I've done that before and saw a little change but my parents don't buy honey and I don't think they would buy it for that purpose (I did it at a friends house). Anybody know of other ways? Please no answers on "you're going to go blind" because honey used for eye drops have benefits and have been around for centuries, look it up. AND NO COLORED CONTACT ANSWERS. I'm asking of ways to naturally lighten them. Only people who have used ways tonlighten eyes and have worked and/or have reasearched some that work. Thank you!
